A Special Presentation Honoring Mary Magdalene

Rita L. Houlihan, a respected advocate for the study of Mary Magdalene’s roles in the canonical gospel, will be our presenter. Rita will share insights into Mary Magdalene’s contributions to our faith, her significant role in the ministry of Jesus, and the significance of her name. The presentation will also touch on why it is important to restore our memory of her as a disciple and witness, touch on how the denigrating legends evolved, and highlight artwork that reflects Mary Madgalene’s importance as the first to proclaim the Resurrection. Rita draws on the work of many scholars, providing much that is knows of our Patron Saint.
