OCIA – Order of Christian Initiation of Adults
Are you or someone you know interested in exploring becoming a Catholic? Are you part of the faith but perhaps never received First Communion or Confirmation?
OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the Church’s program for welcoming those who wish to become a Catholic. Through scheduled gatherings and formation, participants learn what the Church teaches and why, and how to grow in relationship with Jesus Christ and His people.
OCIA is also the right place for any adult who may have been baptized Catholic but didn’t complete either First Communion or Confirmation.
The journey culminates at the Easter Vigil, the night before Easter, when candidates are fully received into the Church through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist.
Whether you are just beginning to explore Catholicism or are ready to take the next step, we welcome you! We are here to listen, support, and accompany you on your journey of faith. As you walk through the OCIA process, be prepared to explore, learn, and grow in your relationship with God. Anyone with a sincere interest is invited to join us, without any commitment or expectation!
